THE HIVE encourages art form cross pollination – between practitioners, and between processes and creative approaches.

Held within the 2011 BigPond Adelaide Film Festival, this ground-breaking 5 day residential lab brings together 20 talented artists from film, literature, performing and visual arts. Led by BAVC’s Wendy Levy with a team of brilliant mentors from a number of disciplines, THE HIVE introduces filmmakers to creative development methodologies and potential collaborators from other art forms and inspires artists to consider film as a creative outlet.
