Once genetic engineering has perfected the manipulation of physical characteristics, it will turn its sights onto the perfection of personality. But what sort of character traits would we want an ideal human being to have? &#8216;Emergence&#8217; gives users the opportunity to answer these questions by working together to create their own version of an ideal being. The interactive audio-visual theatre component of &#8216;Emergence&#8217; will premiere at the Sydney Opera House in mid-2007 and then tour nationally.
